Charlie Sheen Under Investigation By Police Stalking Unit

Los Angeles Police Department says actor Charlie Sheen is now the subject of a criminal investigation headed up by detectives from an elite stalking unit. Officer Matthew Ludwig says Sheen was listed as a suspect in a criminal investigation, following a report received on March 31. Police did not go into details of the allegations or say who the alleged victim was, according to CBS News.

Ludwig says that the department’s Threat Management Unit has obtained a search warrant in the case. The celebrity news site RadarOnline reported Wednesday that it had been served a subpoena from Los Angeles police for a 35-minute audio recording. The recording purportedly includes Sheen threatening his ex-fiancee, Scottine Ross. Ross was known for performing in porn films under the name Brett Rossi.

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources say Rossi showed up at an LAPD station and reported some sort of incident that went down, involving her and Sheen. TMZ says cops filed for an emergency, seven day restraining order against Sheen for Rossi, and that there were plans to have a judge extend the order. No details on what went down between the two were released.

The criminal investigation is only the latest in a string of bad news for Sheen, known for his role in “Two and a Half Men.” Ross filed a lawsuit in December accusing him of assault, battery, false imprisonment and failure to disclose to her that he was HIV-positive. The lawsuit says that on multiple occassions, Sheen locked Ross in the bathroom, pushed her, dragged her by the arms, placed her in a chokehold, and pointed an unloaded gun at her and repeatedly pulled the trigger, CNN Reports. Ross and Sheen were in a relationship from November 2013 to October 2014, according to the suit.

It’s also been reported that Sheen recently requested his child support payments to his four young children be reduced due to changed financial circumstances. His children are with ex-wives Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller.
